In the world of DUI charges, every arrest can lead to a need for an Ignition Interlock Device (IID), and perhaps a special license that is not really a license, but actually is. This is called an Ignition Interlock License (IIL). This issue alone is extremely confusing and even if the DUI case is eventually dismissed, there may be a need for the device and the special license.
